Enemies (Survivors)

Zombies are the main enemy of Yet Another Zombie Survivors. Most zombies are basic and die easily, but as the danger level increases, their stats will increase, and more zombie types will spawn, including boss zombies.

Boomer

Creates a damaging gas cloud on death.

Spitter

Spits projectiles towards the player. Also has a Vile Wasteland exclusive variant, Desert Spitter.

Spider / Slime

Exclusive to Vile Wasteland. Explodes into a small web trap on death, that slows the player when they walk through it. If the Arachnophobia Mode is turned on, this enemy changes to a Slime, and explodes into a puddle of slime instead of a web.

Fly

Mummy

Exclusive to Vile Wasteland. Periodically spawns in a circle around the player, closing in. At least one must be killed to be able to open a large enough gap to exit the circle without taking damage, though this number increases as the circle narrows. Mummies will disappear about 30 seconds after spawning.

Scarab

Exclusive to Vile Wasteland. Explodes on death, dealing damage in a small area.

Witch

Summons a swarm of Flies charging a short distance in a direction. Each of these flies is an individual enemy that only takes one hit to kill and will not deviate from its path.

Big Mummy

Exclusive to Vile Wasteland. Attacks by launching huge sand projectiles that splits into smaller ones at a certain distance, and by smashing the ground, which in turn creates a cone-shape rock spike attack in front of it. In addition, it summons Scarabs to attack the Survivors.

Special

Desert Worm

The sand worm spawns periodically on Vile Wasteland, shown by a red growing circle suddenly appearing under the player. When it emerges, it will deal high damage to anything in the circle, including other zombies. The sand worm does not have a health bar and can not be killed, and is more of a map hazard than an actual enemy.
